WEST TEXAS ROAD TRIP/BIG BEND
ART LOOP ITINERARY

by Carole Terwilliger Meyers

4 days; by car

Over the next few weeks I will be blogging at Travels with Carole about attractions in this area located in southwest Texas, about two hours from El Paso.  You can, of course,  juggle the itinerary below to fit your own interests.  Please come back regularly to view the progress.

Highway I-10 out of El Paso travels from Florida to California.  For this exciting art-oriented trip, take it south out of El Paso, then east to Highway 90. From there, this loop continues to the junction with Highway 385.  Several excursions off Highway 90 will travel along Highways 17 and 118.  This road trip concludes with a farther excursion down to Big Bend National Park for a few days, a return to El Paso, or continuing on to San Antonio.  Go in spring or fall--summer can be steamy.
