CROCHET A BEVY OF BUNNIES

article and image by Carole Terwilliger Meyers

Children of all ages will adore receiving one of these sweet flop-ear bunnies.  They are especially perfect as an Easter gift.  I needed to make one for each of my six grandchildren, so I got crackin’ early.  The pattern is simple, but you’ll probably need to pay attention as you work.  I preferred to sit in front of a nice warm fire.  I didn’t have any fiberfill--which I think is the best stuffing so they can get wet or be washed with no problem--so I used 4 cotton squares folded together in half in each bunny.  Hopefully, after I leave the bunnies will continue to pop up among their toys, and their little minds will remember the lady who made them.
