BERKELEY’s BEST Restaurants

Kabana Restaurant  1025 University Ave./San Pablo Ave.  Moved now from its former cramped quarters into a cheery spot with mango lassi-colored walls and way more space (plus white tablecloths under glass and crystal chandeliers), this Pakistani restaurant is now on the other side of the street and up a block west of San Pablo.  Especially delicious items include the don’t-miss house specialty--spicy tandoori fish—as well as aloo begun (potatoes and eggplant) and crispy garlic nan.
